Presidents Remarks 2017

​

Anglia in Bloom spearheads a campaign that covers all of East Anglia. Our aim is to help entrants to improve the area that residents, visitors and people that work in the area can enjoy and can take in the pleasant surroundings. Much of the success comes from the involvement of the whole community and team effort of the dedicated volunteers that put in 100% always wanting to do more to raise the standards. They work tirelessly often with limited resources.

The Anglia in Bloom campaign concentrates on three core areas Horticultural Achievement, Environmental Responsibility and Community Involvement. Entrants are certainly making vast improvements in all areas and the judging teams have noticed that the standards continue to rise. This proves our campaign in the six counties of the eastern region is proving a success.

We are very lucky to have such a dedicated team of judges and trustees who give generously of their valuable time to ensure that we function as a complete unit that will be of benefit to all entrants now and in the future. I would personally like to thank the team for all the hard work that they put in not only to carry out the judging procedure but their work behind the scenes also.

Finally without our sponsors we could not continue the good work and our sincere thanks goes out to them. We look forward to their continued support and a very happy partnership for the foreseeable future, in particular our new sponsors.
